The signatures comprise: John Hunt, Charles Evans, Griffith Pugh, Alfred Gregory, Sir Edmund Hillary, Mike Westmacott, George Band, Charles Wylie, George Lowe, and Michael Ward.
First limited edition, This is copy number 322 of 500 copies printed, signed by signatories.
Binding: In the original blue half leather binding with blue cloth boards, and the striking gilt device on the front board, depicting a mountaineer atop 40th to denote the 40th Anniversary. The gilt lettering on the spine is bright, and the three gilt bands are immaculate. Accompanied by a cloth slipcase. The gilt top edge is bright and unmarked.
Condition: In almost Mint condition. An Excellent copy.
