56 Photographs of Calcutta (25), including the seven-part Panorama of Calcutta Maidan measuring 7.5 x 12.5 in (18.9 x 31.6 cm) (each), Benaras (5), Agra (10), Delhi (10), Cawnpore (3), Allahabad (1), Bombay (2). Contemporary leather bound in brown leather with gold tooling to the covers, including the title “INDIA SEPTEMBER 1872”. All edges gilt.

Condition: Rebacked spine and polished covers. Minor yellowing along the edges of a few photographs. In excellent condition.
