The Edmund Dulac illustrated Rubáyát of Omar Khayyám is generally considered the high point of his artistry and was an immediate, enormous success. The Fitzgerald translation is the perennial favourite. Each page has two poems numbered through 110.

Red buckram with lovely Art Nouveau gilt lettering, decorative motives & embossing on cover & spine; 20 coloured plates tipped-in & mounted on vellum paper with decorative borders plus descriptive tissue guards; text printed on rectos by T. and A. Constable; pictorial endpapers with golden peacock feather motif, unpaginated. Pages – appx.162
Condition: Fading of spine and corners slightly rubbed. Sporadic light spots but generally clean. An excellent copy.
