Contains various black & white illustrations and maps in between texts. Original red fine oblique-grain cloth, gilt-lettered spines, front covers with gilt stamp of the cap badge of the Royal Engineers. Pages – vol.1-494, vol.2-392.

Condition: Sunned spine, minor cracks inside rear hinge of vol.1 with minor rubbing on spine ends. A good copy.
