The first half of the Jubilee Book of Cricket is instructional, while the second half focuses on school, university, and county cricket. Chapters on training, fielding, bowling, batting, captaincy, umpiring, public school, and Cambridge University cricket by W. J. Ford, Oxford University Cricket by Thomas Case, and individual histories of the county cricket clubs.

Illustrated with frontispiece and 115 tissue- guarded photographic plates of famous pre-1914 players from the “Golden Age” of cricket, including W. G. Grace, Ranjitsinhji himself, C.T.B. Turner, W. Marlow, L.C.H.Palairet, Lord Hawke, etc., including 22 photogravures. Almost all photographs are by Hawkins of Brighton, the best of the Golden Age photographers. Originally cloth bound in white with embossed letters on spine. 26 x 21.5 cm
