First Edition, 2 Volumes bound in 1. ( 53 x 39 cm) large mezzotint vignette by J. Bromley after T. Stothard, 24 hand-coloured lithographed plates (first series G. Huntafter Moore, second series by H. Pyall after Thornton and Marryat). 

Binding: Dark half-brown morocco, over marbled boards, gilt, and green title label to upper board. Spine in six gilded compartments, marbled endpapers, and one edge gilt.

Condition: Edges bumped and rubbed. Minor spots on the title page do not affect any plate. A very good copy.
